Cupping is a form of massage therapy that decompresses soft tissues by vacuum suction, unlike other forms of massage that compress soft tissues. During cupping, the cup gently sucks the skin and lifts the underlying soft tissues into the cup.

How does it feel?

Cupping is very relaxing and generally not painful. The sensation is a pulling of the skin as the cup is moved in a rotating manner. Redness or a warm sensation usually occurs after the cup is released due to increased blood flow to the area.

Who can benefit from it?

Almost everyone can benefit from cupping. It is used to treat lack of mobility, tense muscles, scarring, and many diagnoses such as headaches, tendonitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, and trigger point release.

What to expect after the treatment?

Slight pain can be expected from lactic acid buildup in muscle tissue, but less pain than with a deep tissue massage. The bruises are predictable and can last up to a week. After the treatment, physical exertion and heat are not recommended.

The benefits of cupping are as follows:

Releases scar tissue and fascial adhesions
Reduce painful trigger points
It improves circulation, blood, and lymphatic circulation
Relieve pain
Promotes mobility and freedom of movement
Improve mature scars
Decrease toxins
If you have experienced trauma such as strains, sprains, overstrain, etc., our therapists can help you provide non-opioid means of pain relief through cupping.

If you have any questions about our services or would like more information on the cupping techniques, please contact us.

The methods of diagnosis and treatment focus on particular diseases and the general condition. The essence of Tibetan medicine is to maintain the balance between mind and body. It will be helpful for people to practice breathing exercises, stretching exercises and meditation to maintain a healthier and happier life.
Method of diagnosis

Diagnostic methods:

A visual diagnosis, consisting mainly of urine, eye and tongue examination, pulse diagnosis, and questioning of the patient. Pulse diagnosis is done by placing the fingers in different positions on the wrists to feel the wrists. He can therefore feel the state of the energies and their balance as well as the state of the internal organs. Communication between the therapist and the patient is very important because it reveals further information about the nature of the patient’s complaints. In some cases, the therapist will press specific points on the body, which not only provides additional information about the condition, but it’s effect is also an energy-balancing treatment.

Method of treatment

After making the diagnosis, the therapist will explain to the patient the nature of her energy imbalances. Then he will offer specific advice on food and behaviors appropriate for the patient’s condition. There are also other traditional Tibetan treatment methods such as moxa, hormé and cupping
